We need oils in our lives. For cooking, baking, sautéing, dressing salads and veggies, etc. The important thing is that we choose wisely with health in mind! This is where things can get confusing. Do we believe the “heart-healthy” claim on some oil packaging? Is the saturated fat in certain oils bad for us?
In this Facebook Live, I’m clearing up any confusion as I share with you what oils you should always (and never) have on hand and why. I’ll debunk some myths (aka lies) that we’ve come to believe over the years and point you to oils that actually can improve health markers (and steer you far away from those that lead to disease). I’ll also clarify what to look for when buying oils and how to properly use them.
